Q. Are you a member of any recognised organisations ?
A. Yes. We are members of the B.I.H.A (British Inflatable Hirers Association), who promote good practice, health and safety within the industry. For more information log onto their website at www.biha.org.uk.
Q. Are you insured ?
A. Yes we have full public liability insurance, so you can rest assured you are in good hands.This covers accident and injury caused by our equipment failing or incorrect or unsafe installation. As the hirer, you are responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the inflatable at all times. Beware of companies who do not have insurance. Always ask to see a copy of their insurance policy.We ask you to read and sign a copy of our terms and conditions of hire prior to any hire.We would ask that you take this seriously. Most of it is common sense.
Q. How old are your bouncy castles ?
A. All our castles are less than 12 months old, and thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to each hire.
Q. How much room does a bouncy castle need ?
A. This depends on the castle you hire but, as a general rule, they will require an extra 6ft at the rear for the blower, an extra 3ft on the 2 side's and 6ft at the front for access to the castle. For example a 12ft x 12ft castle would ideally need 24ft front to back and 18ft side to side. If you are unsure please feel free to give the "JennysJumps" team a call to discuss.
Q. Can the castles go indoors ?
A. Our castle`s are suitable for outdoor and indoor use. However you must check the height of the inflatable that you want to hire is below the venue`s ceiling height.
Q. Are their any age limits ?
A. Yes, the 12 x 12 childs castles are limited to children upto the age of 14. There is no age limit for the adult castles.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit ?
A. No. We do not need a deposit, as full payment can be made in cash on the day of hire. If you wish to pay by cheque we ask that full payment is received at least 10 working days prior to the hire date.
Q. How long can I keep the castle for ?
A. We aim to begin delivering our castles from 8.00am -12.00 noon. We will try to accomodate a specific time for you if required but this cannot be guaranteed. We begin collecting the castles from 5.00pm onwards.
Q. What happens if it rains on the day of hire ?
A. All of our castles come complete with shower covers but these are not sufficient for heavy rain. The bouncy castle is not to be used if it gets wet, as this makes it dangerous. If it is likely to rain on the day of hire then you can cancel anytime up to 1 hour before delivery without incurring a charge.
Q. What access to the site do you require ?
A. Our team will need at least a 3ft wide hall or passageway to move the bouncy castle into position. Please ensure that the site is flat and clear of any obstacles / toys etc, and that any overhanging trees and bushes etc are pruned back so as not to damage the castle. The site must also be clear of any sharp objects such as rocks / stones and animal waste. We do not erect our castles on concrete, for safety reasons.
